Sam’s Law

Sam’s Law, named after WSU student, Sam Martinez, was established in 2021. The law provides an updated definition of hazing and requirements surrounding hazing prevention in college settings. In compliance with Sam’s Law, all violation’s within the last five years are public records. All WSU sorority and fraternity violations of Sam’s Law can be found on the WSU Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life website, on individual organization social media pages, and if applicable on individual or national organization websites.

The WSU Panhellenic Council is in full support of Sam’s Law and stands firmly against hazing.
